Rita Duan

Designer | Architecture

Rita received a Bachelor of Fine Art in Scenography Studies from Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma in Italy in 2018, as well as a Master of Interior Architecture degree from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2021, with a major in Exhibition and Narrative Environment. While at RISD, she focused on the space design of interior architecture and its related interdisciplinary studies. She also spent a gap year from 2018 to 2019 in Nepal, teaching art at a local school in Kathmandu as a volunteer. She recently completed an internship with Charlap Hyman & Herrero in Los Angeles, where she participated in designing several residential and commercial buildings, including the Boston Aesop store on Newbury Street. Outside the studio, she enjoys cooking, reading novels at home (a real homebody!), and watching movies with her partner and cat.
