Kellyn Lanza Joins Hacin as our Spring 2026 Design Intern!
We’re excited to have Kellyn Lanza join our studio as our newest design intern from Northeastern University!
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Kellyn’s love of architecture and interior design started at a young age while attending countless real estate open houses with her mom and building neighborhoods in Minecraft. A third year student at Northeastern University, she has studied abroad in both London and Copenhagen and is inspired by Scandinavian design because of its human-scaled approach and success in adaptive reuse. Always passionate about all school subjects, she feels that studying architecture allows her to combine her creative and intellectual interests at the same time. She finds her program stimulating and inspiring and strives to design in a fashion that evokes the same feelings in others. Always aware of how her surroundings affect her, Kellyn is passionate about how people feel in a space and finds it fascinating to be on the other side, designing environments that shape other peoples’ experiences. In her free time, she loves making all kinds of art – from drawing to screen printing to photography – and spending time outside exploring the world!
“Architecture and design impacts all of our everyday lives, whether we realize it or not. I see our role as designers as ensuring that impact is positive.”
We are also happy to have Zuzanna Weglicka rejoin the studio for another semester, after previously interning at Hacin over the summer of 2025! If you see either of our design interns around the office, be sure to give them a warm welcome! To keep up with other studio updates and happenings, make sure to follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
