Hacin’s 2026 Service Day at Community Servings

This year, Hacin spent our annual service day volunteering at Community Servings in Jamaica Plain. There, our team prepared and packed meals to be distributed to the surrounding community.

The organization’s mission is to actively engage the community to provide medically tailored, nutritious, scratch-made meals. Recipients of the meals are chronically and critically ill individuals and their families. Their delicious, made-from-scratch meals offer clients and their families’ stability and comfort as they cope with the devastating effects of illnesses. Since its founding in 1990, Community Servings has provided more than 15 million medically tailored meals (MTMs). Their clients live with severe critical and chronic illnesses such as HIV, cancer, diabetes, and kidney disease. Thousands have been served across Massachusetts and Rhode by this inspiring organization.
