Back Bay Pied-à-Terre
Hacin’s Back Bay Pied-à-Terre project was completed for an empty-nester couple seeking a global-inspired, welcoming home base after relocating from a large family home in the Boston suburbs. The couple, seasoned travelers who have lived abroad in various countries, wanted their new home to reflect their international experiences while embracing the simplicity and convenience of residential tower living. Located in the Raffles Boston residences, the project engaged an interdisciplinary architecture and interiors team to reconfigure the existing floor plan and add new finishes, millwork, lighting, and furniture. The concept aimed for a calming, neutral palette, featuring clean lines and accents of contemporary lighting, softened by textural details and sculptural forms.
