Jinah Oh
Designer | Architecture
Jinah joined Hacin‘s team in 2025 with experience in both private residential and commercial design. Originally from Massachusetts, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies at Connecticut College, and later pursued a Master’s degree in Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 2019. During her studies, she had the opportunity to study Architecture in Denmark and became deeply inspired by Danish design. A studio trip to Aarhus City Hall by Arne Jacobsen and Erik Moller left a lasting impression–where every layer of detail was designed with intentionality, from the envelope of the building to the very font used for signage.
During her time in Philadelphia for her Masters, she worked on multi-family housing at DIGSAU and ISA. Jinah later returned to Boston to work at Merge Architects, where she designed two workspace floors for a Kendall Square global tech company. She then shifted gears into designing luxury single family homes at Flavin Architects. At Flavin, she worked on a range of projects, from a full gut-renovation of a brownstone in Louisburg Square to an expansive, waterfront property in Rockport.
Jinah also taught a housing studio for second year undergraduate students at Northeastern University’s School of Architecture. She has a passion for staying engaged in the academic community, frequenting as a guest critic at The School of Architecture at Wentworth, as well as Northeastern University. In her free time, she enjoys planning food-centric travel itineraries with her husband, training her 85-pound German Shepherd mix, Apollo, and dabbling in ceramics.
