In 2023, Hacin’s visual identity practice executed a comprehensive re-brand to coincide with the organization’s 30th anniversary and announcement of new leadership. After existing for three decades as Hacin + Associates, the firm chose to adopt the standalone name of Hacin in order to support the wide range of existing disciplines and evolving opportunities for the organization going forward. In addition to the new name, the rebrand included the design of a new logo with increased flexibility and functionality, as well as updates to the brand’s color story, business development collateral, signage, stationery, and web design. With a wide portfolio of work with projects ranging from residential, commercial, hospitality, preservation, and more, the updated identity is agile and able to exist in a multitude of scenarios, from a commercial development proposal to a magazine advertisement to a monograph. The new brand references the previous identity while adopting an updated sensibility to take the firm into its next chapter.
