Christine Rankin

Christine joined Hacin in 2005 and has cultivated a deep expertise in design across a variety of project types, specializing in those that bridge the fields of architecture, interior design, and visual identity. Having been a part of the studio for more than twenty years, she is a fervent advocate of the firm’s collaborative approach and interdisciplinary process and is currently Hacin’s hospitality design leader and managing many of the studio’s restaurant and hotel projects. She’s contributed to landmark work for the firm across all typologies, including the Beacon Courtyard TH, Shore Leave, Amagansett House, 55 India, and FP3.
Christine received a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from Northeastern University and a Master of Interior Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design. While there, she focused on collaborative studies with various design departments, including digital media as well as industrial and furniture design. She also had the opportunity to study architectural history and design in both Italy and Denmark. She was promoted to Associate of the firm in 2022 and Senior Associate in 2024. Outside of the studio, Christine is a perpetual hobbyist and enjoys exploring beaches and towns around New England with her family, collecting shells, practicing yoga and anything miniature.
